The medical field today is changing at an incomparably rapid pace as cutting-edge ICT technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and XR are integrated into it. Amid these waves of change, the SNUH Institute of Convergence Medicine with Innovative Technology aims to fulfill its role not as a mere follower, but as a First Mover leading the future of medicine.

Building on the outstanding research personnel and state-of-the-art infrastructure accumulated by Seoul National University Hospital, our Institute pursues innovation that can be felt in the field. In particular, centered on the three pillars of innovative medical devices, full-cycle medical devices, and advanced cell and gene therapy—the core of next-generation medicine—we are building a virtuous cycle in which ideas become technologies and technologies become hope for patients.

Through relentless research and convergent innovation that transcends the limits of medical technology, we will enhance the national competitiveness of Korea's medical industry and contribute to the healthy lives of humanity.
