Education Guide
Education Program Overview
The Institute of Convergence Medicine with Innovative Technology runs a variety of education programs to promote technical exchange and strengthen the research capabilities of researchers inside and outside the hospital. Through broad support ranging from seminars to equipment use and software training, we foster collaboration among researchers and convergence research.
Program Composition
Seminars
We regularly hold seminars that invite experts and researchers from diverse fields — such as medicine, AI, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and medical device policy — to share the latest research trends and promote human and technical exchange. Chief among them is the ICMIT Monthly Seminar, around which we run convergence seminars on a variety of topics.
Equipment Training
We provide practice-oriented training to build understanding of the key equipment used in research settings. We help participants learn how to use devices such as HMDs (Head Mounted Displays), robotic arms, and therapeutic ultrasound equipment and apply them in their research.
Software Training
We run training on the various software needed for research and development. Participants can strengthen practical, hands-on skills in tools such as image segmentation and design and reverse-engineering software.
