The Institute of Convergence Medicine with Innovative Technology supports specialized research to create momentum for a leap forward in innovative medical technology research within the hospital and to build the leading research capabilities needed to respond proactively to the coming changes in the medical environment.

With innovative medical devices, full-cycle medical devices, and advanced cell and gene therapy as our three core pillars, we are building a virtuous-cycle research ecosystem in which ideas are realized as actual technologies and their fruits become hope for patients.

Medical Device Commercialization Support

  • Usability evaluation
  • Support for medical device notification, certification, and approval
  • Support for GMP conformity assessment

Advanced Cell & Gene Therapy Center

Clinical Manufacturing Support

  • Process development for advanced regenerative medicine clinical research
  • Support for producing human cells and other materials for clinical research
  • Quality testing (sterility, endotoxin, mycoplasma, etc.)

Regenerative Medicine Support

  • Operation and management of advanced regenerative medical institutions
  • Clinical research administrative support and review of submission documents
  • Human cell management services (to be supported at the new facility)
